When Parents Say, ‘No Compromise on Education!’

Vikrant Rathod lives at the construction site of Mayur Kilbil in Dhanori. Vikrant’s family migrated to Pune from Pusad in Yavatmal in 2011. Door Step School staff helped him get enrolled in nearby government school in the same year. Vikrant started attending the school in 4th standard and now he has reached the 7th standard.

Grow With Books

Door Step School started Project Grow with Books in 1999 with the aim of developing the reading skills of children and enhancing their vocabulary. The goal was to improve the reading skills of the children and generate a love for reading which would eventually develop into a love for learning.
