- Our persistence in requesting the Education Department for additional class teachers for the English Medium school where there are 14 divisions ( Stds. I to VII- morning and afternoon shift) and only 6 teachers, has finally paid off. Two teachers were added this year and the Superintendent has promised that an adequate number of teachers will be appointed in the coming academic year.
- Modifications have been introduced in the implementation of the Sarva Shikshan Abhiyan in Mumbai after some lobbying by Door Step School. The SSA is the Central Government’s Education Guarantee scheme. Door Step School has undertaken to run some classes under this scheme.
