On Wednesday 21 May 2008, we inaugurated the new School-on-Wheels bus of Door Step School in our premises in Aundh, Pune.
School-on-Wheels is a mobile school with an aim to provide basic education and reading skills to children that live in slums, on the streets or on construction sites.

Springer Science + Business Media is one of the world’s leading suppliers of scientific and specialist literature. Springer will fund all the activities of School-on-Wheels including the driver, the teachers, the school materials and the bus as well for the next 3 years.
During this event, all the children present were also given orange T-shirts by Springer.
