How You Can Help
There are several ways in which you can help Doorstep School carry on and expand the important work being done.

One of the most pressing need faced by Doorstep School in Mumbai and Pune is suitable space to conduct classes. We need to set-up classes in the vicinity of the community that is targeted, often on short notice. The requirements for the space may vary from 6 months to more than a year. Such flexibility is often not met by commercially available spaces.
If you or someone you know has a space that can be made available to Doorstep School, even temporarily, please contact us.

Sponsor one of our deserving teachers.

If you are in the areas of Mumbai and Pune (where we do most of our work) and would like to get involved at the grassroot level, we encourage you to get in touch with Ms. Rajani Paranjpe or Ms. Bina Lashkari. Our administrative needs are varied and we'll do the best to find a way for you to contribute.

For those not so lucky (wink!) to be in Mumbai or Pune, there are myriad other ways to help.
  • Lend a hand to the fund raising efforts
  • Spread the word! Tell others who might be interested about Doorstep School
  • Help with the maintenance and expansion of the website
  • Assist in off-line publications like pamphlets, posters, presentations etc

    And of course the all important monetary contributions!
    All donations are tax exempt. In the U.S and U.K we use Asha For Education as our fiscal sponsor.
