This group comprising of Door Step School’s ex-students has been gaining strength in 7 communities and has a total of 271 members. The maximum number of members, i.e. 100, still is in Babasaheb Ambedkar Nagar (Punarvasit) where this concept was first experimented with.

This group was initiated with the objective of keeping in touch with the youth of the community, who have had some past association with Door Step School. Most of the members have been introduced to education by the organization, and are today studying in the secondary or higher secondary schools / junior colleges. They fall into the age group of 12 to 18 years. This groups has great potential in influencing their community and paving the way for future generations.

Since 7 communities have an active group, they interact regularly with the Door Step School staff team in their communities. They get an opportunity to come together 3-4 times a year for some common events. The programs planned for them include a variety of awareness programmes and personality development sessions. Seeking a group identity for themselves he groups in some of the communities have named themselves Sanjivani, Ekta, etc.
